I could not recommend Midsussex highly enough, they are truly a fantastic company offering unmatched levels of catering in the Sussex and surrounding areas. Chris and his team at Midsussex catered for our 140 person tipi wedding in July 2026. From the very first email we felt confident in Chris’ capability. He was always prompt and responsive, willing to jump on calls, or meet in person in spite of running a busy schedule. They lead with the food (and service) at the heart and their passion for produce and crafting delicious meals is evident in everything they make and do. At all times the focus was on delivering dishes that we were happy with and that would best suit our guests. Chris was brilliant at making suggestions for tweaking things or making them even better (from a wealth of knowledge and also excited by new ideas) and was also fantastic at listening to our ideas doing everything he could to help our dream wedding breakfast come to life. Not only does Chris bring his wealth of cooking knowledge with him, but also his incredible team who clearly love working for Midsussex. All of the little details are covered which put us at ease. It was over 30 degrees on the day and the team were at all times, polite, hard working and amazing at serving and going the extra mile. Importantly, they were also amazing at dealing with our varied dietary requirements and allergies, some of which were complex and it was such a relief that these were all taken seriously and with great care, all the staff were checking in on those guests which helped everyone feel safe and informed. It’s been lovely hearing more and more feedback from guests since the event about how well looked after everyone felt, some comments included: “That was the best wedding meal I have every had!”, “Your food was outstanding, so delicious we were blown away”, “- had extra dessert! He asked if there was any more and she brought him out a whole slab it was so funny and kind”, “The catering team were fantastic, we couldn’t believe how many canapés kept coming out, we had to try hard to remember dinner was coming!”. “The food was so generous and delicious, thank you”.Much like our guests, we were blown away by the standard of the food on such a large scale and in a field kitchen. The food was beautifully presented and the portions were really generous. Coming from two big foodie families it was so important that the food and the serving of the food was done right and we can’t thank Chris and Midsussex enough for being such an integral part of our day. Thank you, so much. Chris can really help take away stress and make the planning enjoyable. He also helped oversee the place setting hire and equipment hire so we felt confident that everything would be correct and thought of which was really helpful. Nothing was ever too much. If you are considering catering just know you’re in safe hands with Midsussex.

Midsussex Catering came highly recommended to us by our venue (Rumbolds Farm), as one of their trusted suppliers, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Chris was so helpful from the beginning, we’d never organised a wedding before but Chris’ expertise and advice ensured everything was organised and planned without any issues. No question was too silly, and his team on the day were faultless. Midsussex were able to supply everything, from canapés to evening snacks, a full day drinks package, and also partnered with TK Bars to provide a very well stocked cash bar. We’ve had many comments from friends and family post our wedding regarding both the excellent quality food, good healthy portions and professionalism shown in their service. I cannot recommend Chris and his amazing team enough. From the moment they arrived they were so professional, helpful, fun and totally awesome. The whole staff were friendly, polite, and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. We were a sit down for 150 people in a marquee with canapés and wine service and they absolutely smashed it. Just perfect!!

Wow! Chris and the team gave us the best wedding meal we could have asked for. It really did surpass our expectations! Our guests were raving about the food, and it was genuinely the best meal of my life. The service was fantastic on the day and throughout the planning process. I am a massive overthinker and emailed Chris and the team all the time in the lead up to the wedding, and he was so reassuring each time. So professional, polite and always willing to help! We would 100% choose MidSussex Catering again!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I would highly highly highly recommend! you will not be disappointed! I am so grateful to Chris and his team of artists who provided food for my sisters wedding parties, both breakfast (amazing warm bread, yogurts and the most delicious smoked salmon) and for the next day for a big family party (Mediterranean style brunch with meats, cheeses and sooo much more). The food was perfection, we could not have asked for anything better. The presentation was wonderful, and the food tasted incredible. Chris was also just purely wonderful, so kind and accommodating. He managed to fit us in (in an already busy weekend for him) after we were sadly let down by another caterer and he went above and beyond to make all the food perfect. I cannot compliment enough! Thank you Chris!! YOU ARE A STAR!!

My wife and I are so grateful to Chris and his team for playing such an enormous part in the overall success of our 50th Anniversary day.

Regrettably I do not have enough space here to include the huge number of compliments we have received from our many guests praising the nature and high quality of the food Chris prepared and served for us. “Fantastic” is perhaps the most common comment and we totally agree.
